For vehicle battery solutions across India, Tata Green Batteries collaborates with Tata Motors

On Thursday, Tata AutoComp GY Batteries (Tata Green Batteries), a manufacturer of automotive batteries, announced a partnership with Tata Motors for a hassle-free battery purchasing and service experience in the commercial vehicle industry. According to this, Tata Motors’ authorized dealerships and service centers will provide vehicle batteries across India with a one-stop service.

According to the company, this affiliation would make Tata Green Batteries accessible for purchase across the extensive network of authorized Tata Motors dealerships and workshops.

The Tata Green Batteries and Tata Motors logos are co-branded on the batteries for commercial vehicle applications, it was said.

A 50:50 joint venture between Tata AutoComp Systems and the Japanese GS Yuasa Corporation is known as Tata Green Batteries.

In addition to serving the top OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), Tata Green Batteries is also well-represented in the aftermarket in several markets, including those for passenger cars, utility vehicles, and commercial vehicles.

According to the corporation, the two Tata group companies’ collaboration will guarantee hassle-free battery purchasing and servicing for all commercial vehicle customers nationwide.

“With supply to all major commercial vehicle platforms, Tata Green Batteries has long been one of Tata Motors’ key OEM partners. With this historic collaboration, the two firms’ relationship is now extended to the after-market sector, creating a significant opportunity for both businesses to grow while providing the highest quality services to customers, “said Tata Green Batteries CEO Ravi Gupta.

In India, the commercial vehicle industry is expanding at a healthy rate. According to R Ramakrishnan, worldwide head of customer care for Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle business segment, customers today look for all-encompassing solutions for their cars.

“The authorized dealerships and service centers of Tata Motors would be one-stop service providers for vehicle batteries across India due to this strategic alliance. We’re optimistic that this partnership will further improve a hassle-free shopping experience for customers, “added Ramakrishnan.
