India reported 830 new coronavirus infections, the smallest daily increase in 197 days, bringing the 24-hour total of COVID-19 cases to 4,46,45,768.
According to the Union health ministry, one more death brought the total number of Covid-related fatalities to 5,28,981 as of Wednesday.
Of all infections, there are now 0.05% active cases. According to the government, the national COVID-19 recovery rate has grown to 98.77%.
