Every year Arunachal Pradesh celebrates its Foundation Day on 20 February. Actually, Arunachal Pradesh became a full-fledged state on February 20, 1987. Till 1972 it was known as North-East Frontier Agency (NEFA). Arunachal Pradesh is known for its unique culture, food, cultural heritage and beauty. Arunachal Pradesh is a state in northeastern India, bordered by Bhutan to the west, China to the north and north-east, and Myanmar to the east. Various tribes reside in this state. According to Wikipedia, there are 26 major tribes and more than 100 sub-tribes in Arunachal Pradesh. Some of these major tribes are – Aka (Hruso), Apatani, Nyishi, Tagin, Galo, Khampti, Mishmi.
