This year’s romance drama Radhe Shyam is set to release today in theatres worldwide. Creating the hype in the hearts of the Indian audience, the movie became one of the most awaited box-office releases of the year, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde.
The film was directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, an Indian film director, and screenwriter of Telugu cinema. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Vamsi, and Pramod, the film used the concept of Pan-India, by releasing in Hindi and Telugu languages. In his interview with TOI (Delhi Times), Prabhas on being questioned over the concept of pan India was humbly accepting the new forth multilingual approach. He was found stating that films should first be categorized as Indian films, instead of being identified language-wise.
Not only adopting the pan India concept, but Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam has also become a first in the world movie to release its Metaverse. The trailer of the movie was particularly released in Metaverse, where fans were allowed to create their virtual avatars. This was first for any Indian movie and also first globally.
The film set to release today, delve into the astro-thriller genre where Prabhas is seen playing the role of a palmist. This was used in the promotion of the movie by setting up astrology booths outside of cinema halls with a chance of free palm reading. In light of free astrology readings, the makers have also released a digital autograph of Bahubali actor Prabhas, 3D animated digital arts, and animated assets for enthusiastic fans. One can say, the team of Radhe Shyam has left no stone unturned when it came to promoting this pan India movie.
This is to say, the film crew even poached Amitabh Bachchan for lending his voice as the sutradhar.
