Police in Puducherry: Mother kills boy for getting a better grade than her daughter

According to the Puducherry police, a lady killed the 14-year-old kid by giving him a poisoned drink because she was allegedly envious of her daughter’s classmate’s academic success.
The eighth-grade kid from Karaikal’s Servite English School passed away in the hospital.

Sakaya Rani Victoria, the woman, has been taken into custody. According to the investigators, she hated the boy’s success in school and other endeavors.

In the Puducherry district of Kairakal, the murder has generated horror.

Bala Manikandan, the youngster, had attended a class on Saturday to prepare for their yearly day.

He puked upon arriving at his house and informed his parents that he had been feeling ill since consuming a cold beverage at school.

Bala was taken urgently to the Karaikal Government Hospital, but he passed away while receiving care.

Bala received the drink from the school even though they believed it had been sent from home, and the school informed the parents.

Bala’s father, Rajendran, who owns a fair-pricing shop, stated, “We did not provide our kid Bala with any cold drink for school.”

The distraught parents then talked with Devadhas, the school security guard, who said that a person posing as Bala Manikandan’s mother had given him the drink and requested him to give it to the youngster.

CCTV evidence proved that Sakaya Rani Victoria, whose daughter attended the same school, was the person who delivered the alcohol.

Sakaya Rani Victoria was the subject of a police report from Bala’s parents.

As a result of “competition in academics” among the students, according to the police, Sakaya Rani Victoria didn’t want Bala to take part in the annual day.

According to District Collector I Mohamed Manzoor of NDTV, “investigations are ongoing into both the claims against the accused and the concerns of medical incompetence by the hospital.”
