On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that his administration was trying to create 10 lakh jobs.
He also stated that there would be an increase in the number of government jobs for young people in a video message at a “Rozgar Mela” (employment fair) held here by the Gujarat government.
During the event, which was held ahead of Assembly elections in the BJP-ruled state, up to 5,000 people received appointment letters from the Gujarat Panchayat Service Board and 8,000 people received appointment letters from the Gujarat Sub Inspector Recruitment Board and Lokrakshak Recruitment Board.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel delivered the appointment letters.
In his speech, Prime Minister Modi said that on the auspicious day of Dhanteras, “we organized a Rozgar Mela at the national level where we presented recruitment letters to 75,000 applicants.”
He stated that these Melas would continue to be organized at the national and state levels in the upcoming months.
“The federal government is attempting to create 10 lakh employment, and the states and union territories are joining the effort. The amount of government employment offered to young people would dramatically increase, “he said.
He informed the new hires, “Your employment will significantly boost the campaigns for last-mile delivery and saturation of coverage of government programs.
Prime Minister Modi hailed measures, including eliminating an interview requirement for Class 3 and 4 government positions, and complimented Gujarat’s new industrial policy for opening up job prospects.
“By 2047, we want India to be a developed country. The nation’s future depends significantly on the next 25 years. We must make significant progress, and you should carry out your obligations to the government and to society, “he said
The prime minister said he was informed that in 2022, Gujarat’s government would have nearly achieved its goal of creating 35,000 government employees each year.
