Maha Vikas Aghadi Alliance Still Exists in Maharashtra, according to Uddhav Thackeray

Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of the Shiv Sena, stated on Tuesday that despite his party’s dethronement in Maharashtra, the Maha Vikas Aghadi, its coalition with the Congress and NCP, still exists.

After a meeting of MVA partners at this location’s state legislature complex, Thackeray told media that his administration had successfully managed the coronavirus issue.

He claimed that the pandemic’s threat dwarfed the current problem facing his party and the MVA.

“We (MVA partners) met after a long time and felt good. We are still together. We will tell you (soon) what we are going to do,” Thackeray said when asked if the three parties would contest the coming civic polls in Mumbai under the MVA umbrella.

Tuesday marked Thackeray’s first trip to the Vidhan Bhavan in south Mumbai since his resignation as chief minister on June 29 as a result of the uprising led by Eknath Shinde. The Congress has made a strong case for challenging the results independently. Thackeray expressed his complete confidence in the judicial system in regards to the ongoing legal battle in the Supreme Court over numerous petitions submitted by the warring Sena factions led by him and chief minister Shinde.
