Before Real Madrid’s Champions League match against Celtic on Tuesday, Kroos said at a news conference, “I feel well physically, and everything is going well on the pitch. I’m delighted.”

“Reading about events when not even I know what will happen may sometimes be humorous. I’ll consider it the following year or during the (World Cup) break; I’ll think about what may occur and make a decision piece by piece.

“I won’t switch clubs, which is something I’ve always said and which hasn’t changed. I will permanently reside here, where I will retire; the only question is when.

Kroos joined Real Madrid in 2014 from Bayern Munich after receiving his first career dismissal in Madrid’s 1-1 draw with Girona on Sunday.

With Los Blancos and once with, he has four Champions League titles, once with the German giants, three Spanish and three German league titles, and the World Cup with his national team in 2014.

The midfielder is content to hold off on future contract negotiations with Madrid until March of the following year.

“Like myself, the club is composed. I’ve been here for over 8.5 years now “Kroos was added. In January, February, or perhaps March, we’ll speak quietly.

With a victory versus Celtic on Wednesday, Madrid will guarantee first place in their Champions League group.
