Before killing her partner, an Australian axe murderer searched for "What Part Of Body To Go For" on Google

A court has been informed that the woman who savagely murdered her ex-partner with an axe she bought at a Bunnings hardware shop had sought instructions online. The 34-year-old lady, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, appeared before a sentencing court on Friday, according to The Guardian. She admitted to killing her longtime partner in September 2020 when he was lying down in a Sydney townhouse using an iPad. The accepted facts state that he was with another lady when his partner called and texted him.

The 35-year-old victim, who is also unable to be recognized for legal reasons, was described as a sweet, joyful man who welcomed the good in people by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. His aunt recalls hearing about the “atrocious murder” from authorities at a sentencing hearing. We are saddened as a family, she told the judge.

She had looked up terms like “can you kill someone with hot boiling water” and “is it very simple to murder someone with a knife” on her phone earlier that month, according to the Guardian.

According to the news source, she also searched for other things before the murder, such as “What is the fastest place of the body to kill someone with an axe.”

The 10-year relationship had been difficult, and the police had been notified multiple times, the court was informed. The prosecutor presented the evidence of premeditation in the form of her web search history during the sentencing argument in court.
