A Beer Tasting Event Hosted By The EU Called “A Glassful Of Europe” Will Make You Appreciate The Spirits’ Nuances

Europe is home to some of the best types of beers and spirits because of its long history there.

The best way for a beer lover to unwind after a long day at work is to enjoy a cold beer! People in India progressively embrace the beer culture and are eager to sample new and unique variations. As one of the world's oldest and most popular alcoholic beverages, beer symbolizes global unity. Europe is home to some of the best types of beers and spirits because of its long history there. Through the European Union's recent "More Than Food" campaign, which urged me to learn more about the subtleties of beers and spirits, I got to sample the incredible diversity of European foods and beverages.

The "A Glassful Of Europe" event aimed to introduce us to the best of Europe's liqueurs, beers, vodka, cheese, and other libations. Sommelier Magandeep Singh and CEO of an Indian beverage testing training facility Vikram Achanta led this particular beer and spirits tasting. The who's who of Delhi's food and beverage scene was invited to test what Europe offers at an event organized at Sidecar (GK-2, New Delhi). We sampled Polish and Swedish vodka, Irish whiskey, French cognac, Irish cream, Italian, Belgian, German beers, and Swedish and Polish vodka. The enormous range of distinctive flavors and tastes in European food and beverages result from the continent's long agricultural history and reflect its soils, weather, and civilizations. Consequently, one could taste a refined difference in these cheeses and beers, and vodka from different countries in the EU.

Overall, I had a great time at the event, learned fascinating stuff about European agriculture, ate delicious food, and drank warm beverages.
