Miss Universe 2025 is Fátima Bosch from Mexico. She is popularly known for fighting back with one of the organizers, Nawat Itsaragrisil. Miss Thailand Praveenar Singh became 1st runner-up while India’s Manika Vishwakarma secured her spot in the Top 30.

- On 21 November 2025, Miss Universe’s 74th edition was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The outgoing winner from Sweden and Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark, crowned her successor. Mexico’s Fátima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe 2025 in an event glowing with pure pageant glitz.
- Thailand’s Praveenar Singh became 1st runner-up up while 2nd runner-up was Stephany Absali from Venezuela. Top 5 included the Philippines’ Ma Ahtisa Manalo (3rd Runner-up) and Olivia Yace (Côte d’Ivoire). 120 confident ladies represented their countries for the most prestigious beauty pageant in the world. The first cut was Top 30, then Top 12, and the final cut was Top 5. Right after the farewell walk and speech of the previous winner, Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Kjær Theilvig, the winner was crowned.
- India’s Manika Vishwakarma continued the country’s streak at the competition by securing her spot in the top 30. She became one of the most loved contestants in Thailand and a fan favourite to become the winner. Her wardrobe, designers and stylists were praised. She demonstrated great speaking skills at her nationals.
- To determine the winner, the question asked was “If you win the title of Miss Universe 2025 tonight, how would you use this platform to empower young girls?” The winner, Fátima Bosch, has a stunning response to the question asked. She said, “Believe in the power of your authenticity. Believe in yourself, your dreams and your heart, and never let anyone make you doubt your worth, because you are worth everything and you are powerful and your voice needs to be heard.”
- Fátima Bosch went viral after she confronted Nawat Itsaragrisil, one of the organizers, who called her "Dumb" and called security after she defended herself. Other contestants sitting in the room backed her and left the room. Fátima Bosch wasn't on the leaderboards of pageant fans and analysts, but she won, to everyone's surprise.
