PM Modi, President Murmu and many politicians paid their homage through their social media accounts.
Indian Army Day was celebrated for the first time on 15 January 1949; this day marks the day when Field Marshal K. M. Cariappa became the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army. Since then, the day has been celebrated, and today we celebrate the 78th Indian Army Day.
