Ajay Devgn is back on big screens with Runway 34

Directed and Produced by Ajay Devgn, Runway 34 is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The movie is an Indian thriller genre-based, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Ajay Devgn, Angira Dhar, and Aakanksha Singh.

Scheduled to be released on April 29, 2022, this Eid, the film has been inspired by real-life happenings of the year 2015 when a Boeing aircraft (737-800) had a near-life narrow escape on its landing at CIA (Cochin International Airport). The Jet Airways flight running from Doha to Kochi  (Flight number 9W 555) suffered difficulties in the air when bad weather hit the sky on the morning of 18 August 2015.

Known for his thriller works on the big screen, Ajay Devgn will be seen playing the role of Capt. Vikrant Khanna this time around. Capt. Vikrant Khanna was the pilot in the Jet Airways flight which took onto a mysterious course after taking its flight from the international airport in Doha.

With unknown dangers lying in the cloudy sky, the film will show the viewers an interesting word-off between two legends of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, and Ajay Devgn. It was the first time the Singham hero had the opportunity to direct the Shahanshah of Bollywood himself. While the two Bollywood actors will be seen locking horns with each other, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in the role of co-pilot of the Boeing aircraft 737-800.

Ajay Devgn has been in news for his recent suspense thriller web series Rudra: The edge of darkness. He has expressed his delight with the script of Runway 34 by calling it a movie with both style and substance in it. The movie is spell-bounding with twists and turns at every point of the movie. It will be a great watch for the viewers with all the elements of the movie gathered at one point. The movie has a compelling story with drama and emotions. The two legendary actors, Amitabh Bachchan, and Ajay Devgn will be even more captivating for the audience as the mystery in the movie will continue to trick them and put them against each other.
