Harry Potter Star Daniel Radcliffe becomes Father

The child of Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe and his partner of many years, Erin Darke, has been born. Daniel's representative verified the information to the US media site PEOPLE. The baby's gender and date of birth have not been disclosed by the parents.

Fans of the stars are ecstatic with the update. "How quickly the days pass! The Harry Potter actor has become a father,” a user on social media said. Another user commented, "So so so happy for them." The co-stars of "Miracle Workers" announced their plans to have a family in March.

On a walk around New York City with her companion that same month, Darke (38), made her baby bump public by donning a black zip-up hoodie. Since their first encounter in 2012 on the Kill Your Darlings set, Daniel and Darke have been dating. When Daniel was chosen to play the young wizard in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in 2001, he was 12 years old. He continued to feature in all eight films adapted from J.K. Rowling's books. He most recently portrayed the lead in the film Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, for which he received a Bafta nomination.

According to the People story, Radcliffe and Evan Rachel Wood spoke about being famous early at a discussion about the movie Weird: The Al Yankovic Story in October. The Harry Potter actor reportedly said that film sets "can be wonderful" environments for children.

The new father kept a low profile in photographs acquired by the Daily Mail, concealing his face with a face mask and a baseball cap.

Erin accompanied the actor and their infant as they strolled.

The parents have not yet revealed the baby's name or gender. They were expecting the first baby together last month, according to a source. The Sun earlier reported that a source said Radcliffe was over the moon about having children for the very first time.

Along with Darke, Radcliffe splits his time between the UK and the US between his parts in the 2016 bizarre comedic Swiss Army Man and the 2012 thriller The Woman In Black.

Darke, a native of Michigan, gained notoriety for her performance in the 2015 television series "Good Girl Revolt." More recently, Darke had an appearance in the Prime Video series The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel.

Jack Kerouac and William S. Burroughs, two of the most well-known poets and authors of the Beat Generation, were followed in the early lives of Kill Your Darlings.

In the movie, Radcliffe played renowned American poet, Allen Ginsberg, while Darke played Gwendolyn, the author's crush who doesn't know he's homosexual.
