"Modern Woman," Alia Bhatt wins a Time 100 Impact Award

The indomitable Alia Bhatt. As of right now, the actress has been named a Time100 Impact Award winner. Alia posted a screenshot of the Time magazine article about her and added sun symbols to her text. Time says Alia is a “contemporary lady” with “flaws and all.” Alia is well-known for her roles in films like Highway, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Raazi, and Darlings. She has since established a reputation in Bollywood as a talented actor and producer. She makes her Hollywood debut in Tom Harper’s Heart Of Stone, which also stars Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot. The first person to leave a kind comment under the photo was Alia’s mother, seasoned actress Soni Razdan. “Tadaaaa,” she scribbled. Actress Dia Mirza used emojis.

According to Time, Alia Bhatt has earned the title of “modern lady” thanks to her solid and aggressive character.

Modern women “still battle with being incorrect, selfish, or defective,” the actress claimed. We have a particular cultural standard in which we have to be put together, we have to be correct, we have to be quiet, we have to be simple, we have to be soft-spoken, and we have to be well-dressed, according to a remark from Alia Bhatt.

When asked why people identify with her characters so strongly, Alia Bhatt responded, “We have to be so many things. Bring everything, including our vulnerability, our envy, our highs and lows, and the truths that make us uncomfortable even to consider. Bringing that to the forefront on the big screen, then the person watching you from the audience will feel like, ‘OK, I’m not the only one.'”

With each new release, Alia Bhatt, who was most recently seen in Brahmastra, has seen herself “behaving very, very differently… I am much more at peace, in control, and willing to accept fate and my fate.

During our conversation, Alia Bhatt discussed how she now picks a part or project. Alia is the second actress from Bollywood to get a Time100 Impact Award. Deepika Padukone won the honor earlier this year for her contributions to film and raising mental health awareness.

On October 2, Alia Bhatt will receive the Time100 Impact Awards during a cocktail reception at the National Gallery Singapore that is by invitation only. She has been invited to a watching party for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix with other honorees, including former James Webb Space Telescope Program director Gregory L. Robinson, singer-actress Lea Salonga, and computational geneticist Dr. Pardis Sabeti.
