Children Diya and Dev join Jyotika and Suriya in celebrating their national award win

At Suriya and Jyotika’s home, two parties are being held simultaneously. Soorarai Pottru, a 2020 film that Suriya and his wife Jyotika co-produced, won Best Film Feature Film at the 68th National Film Awards. Suriya also took up the Best Actor prize for Soorarai Pottru. With Ajay Devgn, who won for Tanhaji, the actor received the Best Actor honor. Jyotika uploaded photos from the event on her Instagram account. The celebrity couple celebrated their significant victory with their children Diya and Dev. Jyotika captioned the photo, writing, “Proud and fortunate.”

2006 saw the marriage of Suriya and Jyotika, co-stars of such films as Poovellam Kettuppar, Uyirile Kalanthathu, Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan, Maayavi, June R, and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. They have a son named Dev and a daughter named Diya.

In recent years, Suriya, who has been in movies like Nandha, Kaakha Kaakha, Ghajini, and the Singam trilogy, has appeared in the highly praised flicks Soorarai Pottru and Jai Bhim. In Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, he, too, had a brief appearance. He will also make a brief cameo in the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, which stars Akshay Kumar.

Jyotika appeared in several popular movies and television shows, including Mozhi, Kaakha Kaakha, Sillunu Oru Kadhal, Pachchakili Muthucharam, Seetha Kalyanam, 36 Vayadhinile, and the legal drama Ponmagal Vandal. She was also seen in Udanpirappe, produced by her and Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.
