Before Monday's "Run for Unity" event, Delhi Police issues a traffic advisory

The India Gate C-Hexagon will be closed on Monday from 6.45 am to 9 am to allow for the “Run for Unity,” which is being organized to honor the anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth.
The start of the race, which is a part of the Rashtriya Ekta Divas, will be signaled from Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium’s Gate Number 1. The advice on Saturday stated that around 8,000 individuals are anticipated to participate.

According to the statement, there will be traffic detours at the following intersections: Tilak Marg-Bhagwan Dass Road, Purana Quila Road-Mathura Road, Shershah Road-Mathura Road, Dr. Zakir Hussain Marg-Subramanian Bharti Marg, Pandara Road-Subramanian Bharti Marg, Q-Point, and the roundabouts at Mansingh Road, Jaswant Singh Road.

The following route has been recommended for commuters going to and from the south-north: Ring Road, Sarai Kale Khan, IP Flyover, Rajghat, Lala Lajpat Rai Marg, Mathura Road, W-Point, and A-Point.

For those traveling from the east to the west or vice versa, there are several options, including IP Marg, A-Point, W-Point, Sikandra Road, Mandi House, Firozshah Road, Ashok Road, Gole Dak Khana, RML, Shankar Road, NH-09, Ring Road, Bhairon Marg, Mathura Road, SBM, Q-Point, and Abdul Kalam Marg.

For those traveling from the south to Central Secretariat and Connaught Place, the advisory suggested taking Mother Teresa Crescent, Park Street, roundabout RML, Pandit Pant Marg, Park Street, Baba Kharak Singh Marg/Mandir Marg, Mathura Road, W-Point, Sikandra Road, roundabout Mandi House, and Barakhamba Road.

According to the statement, Rajpath would be accessible from Man Singh Road through Janpath and Rafi Marg.
