Lakshya Sen loses to Viktor Axelsen in the Men’s Singles Final of the All England Open  Badminton Championship.

Lakshya who had become the only 5th Indian to reach The All England Open Final looked agitated at the world’s oldest badminton tournament.

Viktor Axelsen who won the top prize at the Tokyo Olympics made it into the list of gentry Danish Shuttlers after ending Lakshya Sen’s dream run in Birmingham. Olympic champion Axelsen won his 2nd All England title.

The highlights of the game were:

Alexson dominated the game and takes the opening game 21-10. It was not Lakshya’s day. Sen couldn’t amid pressure on the danish player. Viktor took the game by the breeze. There were meager highlights for the young Indian Shutter.

"I think the strategy was there. I played him last week but today he was looking solid in attack and defence as well. He was really patient and played a really good game," Sen said after the game.
