In a chilling episode unfolding in Vadodara, a minor schoolboy stands accused of the brutal murder of his 19-year-old friend, allegedly driven by incessant taunting regarding his relationship status. The heart-wrenching incident, which transpired in the Diwalipura locality on April 17, has left the entire community reeling in shock and disbelief.
According to authorities, the 17-year-old suspect was deeply perturbed by the relentless teasing from his friend, Dishant Rajput, mocking his single status. The cumulative effect of this verbal abuse proved too much to bear, eventually culminating in a lethal outburst of jealousy and rage, prompting the accused to hatch a plan to eliminate Rajput.
On the fateful night, the juvenile perpetrator lured Rajput to a rendezvous point near the Diwalipura Garden, accompanied by another friend, Ranjit Mali, and an accomplice. The group, totaling four individuals, then proceeded to a secluded spot adjacent to the Diwalipura Court complex, where the accomplice restrained Rajput while the minor assailant plunged a knife into his defenseless victim.
