Every year the people of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh celebrate the festival of Baisakhi with great enthusiasm and pomp. Farmer brothers celebrate Baisakhi to celebrate the harvest of wheat. This festival is celebrated with drums, various traditional dishes and dancing and singing. Kadhi Pakora and Rice
Baisakhi celebrations are incomplete without Kadhi Pakoda and rice. To celebrate Baisakhi, Kadhi Pakora and rice are prepared in homes. Although you can make it any other time, but on this day you can make Kadhi with bottle gourd pakoda and eat it with rice. This is a delicious dish of Punjab, which is made with gram flour pakodas and curd curry.

Wheat Kheer
Apart from many delicious dishes, wheat kheer is definitely made for sweets. Wheat kheer is one of the most delicious and healthy foods. Actually, after harvesting the wheat crop, farmers make kheer from this new wheat.

Kadha Prasad
The celebration of Baisakhi is incomplete without Kada Prasad. For celebrations, people make Kada Prasad at home. New wheat is ground into flour, then roasted in ghee along with sugar and dry fruits to make delicious Prasad.

Shakkar Para
Shakkar Para is made by adding sesame seeds and sugar to flour. Shakkar Para is widely consumed in the North Indian states of India. In Punjab, it is often made by frying it in desi ghee and Punjabis believe that distributing Shakkar Para on the occasion of Baisakhi and Lohri is auspicious.

Pinni
Pinni is a delicious laddu, special in Punjabi cuisine, which is especially made in winters. Although many types of sweets are made for Baisakhi, the plate seems incomplete without Pinni. In Punjabi families, on the occasion of Baisakhi, guests are sweetened with Pinni.
