This is the second time in a row that India will host the World Cup. According to the FIH, the January 13-29 tournament of the Men’s Hockey World Cup in India will be co-hosted by two cities in the state of Odisha. The tournament will be held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela, the capital of Odisha.

Nupur Mahajan, who worked with the Odisha government as the tournament’s ‘Communications and Strategy Consultant’ and designed the campaign, said, “We are telling India to give their hearts to hockey. And for this, we will visit hockey-crazy places across the country and ask people to immortalize their heartbeats by recording them in specially designed hockey sticks.”

As soon as one holds this specially designed hockey stick ‘Heart Beat‘, his heartbeat will be recorded as a pledge of support for hockey. Hurt Beat will be touring the country over the next few months.
