Prior to their T20 World Cup match against India, Gautam Gambhir urged Pakistan to “have the best bowlers.”

According to former Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir, Pakistan's quick bowling lineup is the finest at the current T20 World Cup. On Sunday, October 23, India will play Pakistan in their tournament opener, and Gambhir believes that Pakistan's pacers have the ability to do significant harm. Shaheen Afridi of Pakistan has recovered from a knee injury that caused him to miss the Asia Cup last month and is now fully healthy. However, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah have recently been on fire.

When contrasting the bowling strategies of various teams, Gambhir claimed that Pakistan's bowling lineup lacked nothing in terms of speed.

"Pakistan has the best bowlers, especially pacers, in this T20 World Cup out of all the teams.

There is just one bowler in Australia who can bowl at speeds more than 140 kph. Mark Wood can bowl over 150 kph for England. However, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah are capable of bowling above 140 clicks for Pakistan. Their forte is fast bowling, "During a conversation on Zee News, Gambhir said.

Nevertheless, Gambhir added that Pakistan's batting choices are limited, and their batters are weak against short deliveries.

"Their batting order, though, is a problem. They lack a reliable power batter, and short-pitched bowling is their weak point. India can quickly expose their middle order if Babar exits the game early. Additionally, Australia has large grounds, so hitting boundary won't be easy for them. So, Pakistan has weaknesses than strengths," he added.
