The Finance Ministry said Tuesday that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections increased to 1,51,718 crore in October, representing the second-highest revenues ever.
The month of April 2022 saw the most extraordinary GST income ever recorded. Regarding domestic transaction revenue, October was second only to April 2022.

The monthly gross GST revenues have exceeded the 1.4 billion rupee barrier for the eighth consecutive month. For the second time since the introduction of the tax, they have surpassed the 1.5 billion rupee threshold.

According to the Finance Ministry, the 8.3 crore e-way bills created in September 2022 were much more than the 7.7 crore e-way bills produced in August 2022.
