According to the latest media reports, Maruti Suzuki is working on a plan to launch a multi-purpose vehicle, this time Toyota’s famous MPV Innova Hycross.
Currently the most expensive car in Maruti Suzuki’s vehicle portfolio is the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. It is sold by the company through its premium NEXA dealership. The starting price of this SUV is ₹ 10.45 lakhs while the top-end variant costs ₹ 19.65 lakhs. It is being said that the price of the upcoming MPV from Maruti could be in the range of ₹ 20 – 30 lakhs.
It Offers mileage with power performance
The company will use a 2.0-liter capacity 4-cylinder Atkinson cycle hybrid engine in this car, which generates power of 184bhp. The second engine in this car will be of 20 liters which will be capable of generating 172 bhp power and 205 Nm torque. This car can be launched in the market with automatic and manual transmission. The car can deliver a mileage of 23.24 Kmpl.

The design of the MPV from Maruti Suzuki may be slightly different from the current Innova Hycross. In this, you can get to see the new design hand grill, bumper and new hand lamp. This will be the first car from Maruti Suzuki to have state-of-the-art features like Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS). This car has all kinds of advanced features which make this car very special and valuable. These include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitor and pre-collision system.
On the lines of the Innova Hycross, this MUV of Maruti can also be given features like 6 airbags, traction control, electronic stability program, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD). The car also gets the feature of a sunroof which makes the car look more premium. In this car you will also get the option of captain and bench seat.
