India’s Squad for Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025: Jitesh Sharma as Captain, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, and 13 more

India’s Squad for Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 has been selected, Jitesh Sharma has been named as the Captain, and IPL sensations Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Priyansh Arya to play. 

15 men selected for Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 

  • ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship 2025 will be conducted between November 14-23, 2025, in Qatar at West End International Cricket Stadium. The tournament will follow the T20I format with a total of 8 teams. 
  • The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) senior men’s selection committee has selected the India A squad for the Asian Cricket Council’s (ACC) Rising Stars Asia Cup. It is one of those tournaments that gives exposure to the newest players. Wicket-Keeper Jitesh Sharma, 32, is named as the Captain of the 15-player team. 
  • Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 was one of the most memorable tournaments and showcased the potential of young cricketers of India, and proved that the future of Indian cricket is in safe hands. Two of those cricketers who were predicted to be among the strongest cricketers were Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Priyansh Arya. 
  • In total, there are 8 teams to participate, divided into two teams: A and B, the five test-playing nations (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh), with young domestic and international players against associate members (UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong, China)

  • Players like Priyansh Arya, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Nehal Wadhera, Naman Dhir (VC), Jitesh Sharma (C) (WK), Ramandeep Singh, Harsh Dubey, Yash Thakur, Gurjapneet Singh, Vijay Kumar Vyshak, Abhisek Porel (WK), Suyash Sharma, Suryansh Shedge, Yudhvir Singh Charak, and Ashutosh Sharma.
