PM Modi praises the double-engine government in Gujarat as he dedicates projects worth Rs 3,400 crore in Surat

On Thursday, Gujarat’s Surat saw the dedication of numerous projects totaling more than Rs 3,400 crores and the laying of the first stone by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He is in the state for a two-day visit and will inaugurate the 36th National Games, which are being held there for the first time.

Under India’s Ayushman Bharat Scheme, more than 4 crore individuals have received free medical care. According to PM Modi, 1.25 lakh are from Surat and 32 lakh are from Gujarat. PM Modi posted images of an Ahmedabad drone display on Twitter on Wednesday before departing for his trip to Gujarat. In anticipation of the National Games opening, the night sky over Ahmedabad lit up.
