Property owned by the Chief Minister of Odisha is valued at 64.97 Crore

According to an official webpage where all ministers submit information about their assets, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had property worth 64.97 crores as of December 2021, a slight decrease from 64.98 crores a year earlier.
The website, which was updated on Friday with the most recent data regarding the assets and liabilities of public officials, revealed that Mr. Patnaik was the owner of moveable property worth 12.09 crore, including bank accounts in New Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Hinjlicut, and Bargarh, jewelry, and a four-wheeler.

The outdated 1980s Ambassador automobile was worth $6,434, and the gold jewelry was worth $3.45 lakh.

The chief minister had 72 lakh rupees at a bank on Janpath in New Delhi and 21.71 lakh rupees in the State Bank of India at Bhubaneswar.

According to the CM's property disclosure, Mr. Patnaik had immovable property worth 52.88 crores, which he inherited from his parents, Biju and Gyan Patnaik.

He had two-thirds of the Naveen Nivas near the airport in Bhubaneswar, valued at roughly $9,52,46,190, and a 50% interest in the property at 3 Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Road in New Delhi, valued at approximately $43,36,18,000 among his immovable assets (approximately).

On the website, other cabinet ministers also disclosed their holdings.

Naba Das, the state's minister of health, said that his wife had up to 75 automobiles, all of which were utilized for business. Eighteen of them were acquired in 2021.

According to estimates, one Mercedes Benz in Das's fleet has a market worth of almost 1.14 crore. He had approximately 45.12 lakh deposits spread across many banks in Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar, and Jharsuguda.

The property declaration also revealed that the health minister has investments totaling more than 77.43 lakh in several fixed deposit schemes.

His wife has also made deposits totaling more than 1.13 crore in several banks, mainly in Sambalpur, and fixed deposits totaling more than 2.24 crore.

Like this, Minister of Science and Technology Ashok Chandra Panda said that he has movable and immovable assets valued at more than 6.49 crore.

Pritiranjan Ghadai, the minister for rural development, Rita Sahu, the minister for handicrafts, textiles, and weaving, and Prafulla Kumar Mallik, the minister for steel and mining, admitted that they did not own four-wheelers.
