Elon Musk, a “perfume salesman,” requests assistance on Twitter to purchase Twitter

Once again, Elon Musk has caused a Twitter frenzy while pushing his recently released scent, "Burnt Hair." On Thursday, the Tesla CEO asked his followers to purchase the scent while bringing up his on-again, off-again attempt to acquire the microblogging platform.
Elon Musk tweeted, "Please purchase my perfume, so I can buy Twitter."

Musk joked that entering the fragrance industry was "inevitable" given his moniker as he announced the debut of his perfume brand on Wednesday. Even his Twitter bio was modified to "Perfume Salesman."

The "omnigender perfume" is said to smell like "The Essence of Repugnant Desire" and costs 8,400 (USD 100). " It's similar like bending over a candle at the dining table, but easier," the website for the perfume reads.

Since April, there have been several turns in Musk's attempt to acquire Twitter. He has so far attempted to take the firm private, accept and refuse a position on Twitter's board, and cancel the agreement entirely.

After claiming to be justified in terminating the transaction due to Twitter's claimed contractual breaches, the Tesla CEO has now revived his initial $54.20 per share offer for the firm, valued at $44 billion.

A US judge postponed the Twitter trial last week to give Musk more time to finalize his acquisition of the social media company. Musk anticipates that to occur by October 28.
