India Hits the goods Export target of $400 Billion for the first time.

India achieved the outrageous target of $400 billion Goods Export for the first time ever.

The Prime minister congratulated the farmers, weavers, MSMEs, manufacturers, and exporters for the success.

He tweeted-“India set an ambitious target of $400 billion of goods exports & achieves this target for the first time ever. I congratulate our farmers, weavers, MSMEs, manufacturers, exporters for this success. This is a key milestone in our Aatmanirbhar Bharat journey. #LocalGoesGlobal”.

The target has been achieved in a matter of nine days ahead of the schedule with an average of $1 billion goods exported every day. In 2020-21 the figure was $292 billion. The figure increased by 37 percent from 20-21. The growth rate is registered to be 49.06%.

“India on the path to becoming an Export Powerhouse! PM @NarendraModi ji inspired confidence & led from the front through our journey to $400 billion goods exports target,”- said commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal in the recent tweet.
