According to the Panchang, this year Dhanteras will start from 12:35 pm on 10th November and will continue till 1:57 pm the next day on 11th November. In true sense, the festival of Dhanteras will be celebrated on 10th November.
Auspicious time
According to the Panchang, this year the auspicious time of puja will start from 5.45 pm on November 10 and will last till 7.45 pm, during this time lighting Yamdeep will be very auspicious.
Auspicious time to buy gold
This year, the auspicious time to buy gold on Dhanteras will start from 12:35 pm on November 10 and will continue till 6:40 am the next day on November 11.
Method of Worship
On the day of Dhanteras, in the evening, Kuber and Dhanvantari should be established towards the north, after this a ghee lamp of one size should be lit in front of both of them. Offer white sweets to Lord Kuber and yellow sweets to Dhanvantari, and also chant the mantra “Om Hreem Kuberaya Namah” during the puja. After this, recite “Dhanvantari Stotra”, after the puja, install Kuber at the place of wealth and Dhanvantari at the place of worship on Diwali.
