You must have received such messages or international calls as well. Seeing and hearing the offer of a big salary and work sitting at home, you must be feeling like applying for it. For the last few days, if you are getting calls from foreign numbers on your WhatsApp too, then you are not alone. Crores of people of the country are facing this problem just like you. Many times you would be getting missed calls, and sometimes a link would be being sent on WhatsApp through calls. These links are very dangerous.

Why are such calls coming?

  • Survive not only audio calls but also video calls and messages.
  • Report and block these numbers coming from abroad, this number will be updated in WhatsApp data base.
  • Turn off media auto download, go to your phone’s settings and turn off the auto download option.
  • Silence unknown calls i.e. silence calls coming from unknown numbers on WhatsApp.

Follow these 3 steps to stay safe
Step 1:
Do not pick up random calls on WhatsApp. Even if you attend the call, try to avoid buying or selling anything to the person. For example, part time job scam is also going on on the messaging platform and people are being cheated with this fake offer.

Step 2:
Easily block and report fake random calls on WhatsApp. Just go to WhatsApp, open any chat, tap on the three-dot option icon at the top right of the screen, tap on ‘More’ and tap on the Block option. You can also choose to report and block.

Step 3:
Make sure that you do not click on any message or link that you receive from an unknown caller as they may contain some kind of malware to steal your data or money. A hacker or scammer may trick you into doing something to steal your money.
