Jhulan Goswami becomes the 2nd Women Cricketer to Accomplish the Outrageous milestone of playing 200 ODIs.

Jhulan Goswami, a veteran Indian pacer achieved yet another milestone. She became the  2nd women cricketer to play 200 ODIs. she completed this elusive milestone on Saturday in the ongoing ICC women’s ODI world cup 2022 against  Australia.

India’s Mithali Raj holds the record for playing the highest number of ODIs. She played 230 ODIs marking the first place. In third place is former England cricketer Carlot Edwards. She played 191 ODIs.

Earlier the cricketer became the first player to take 250 wickets in women’s ODI, becoming the highest wicket-taker in the women's world cup. Goswami surpassed the record of 39 wickets taken by Lynette Ann Fullston of Australia from 1982 to 1988. The 39-year-old seized the 40th wicket against West Indies in the ongoing World Cup 2022 at Hamilton.

Since her debut in 2005, she had taken part in five women’s cricket world cups.
