Brahmastra, starring Ranbir and Alia, earns Rs 160 Cr after Day 2 of release

Brahmastra, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, has finally arrived in theatres and is a huge hit. Despite demands for a boycott and unfavourable comments on social media, Brahmastra has brought an end to the box office slump of Bollywood movies. Brahmastra had a significant increase in its revenue on day two after setting a record opening day worldwide of Rs 75 crores. According to reports, Brahmastra collected Rs 85 crores on day two, bringing its total so far to Rs 160 crores.

The Hindi version of Brahmastra is estimated to have made between Rs 37.5 and Rs 38.5 crores in domestic box office receipts on Saturday, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. It had earlier made over Rs 35 crores net on its debut day as well. This indicates that the Hindi version of Brahmastra has earned more than Rs 70 crore in India to date.

Ayan Mukerji, who directed the movie, stated on Saturday that he was grateful to the audience for seeing it in theatres. “A Big Thank You to Everyone Everywhere who has gone to the Cinemas to experience Brahmastra, keeping our movie-going culture, vibrant and dynamic. Looking forward to the next few days."

Part 1 of Brahmastra The first instalment of a boldly anticipated trilogy, Shiva, was published on September 9. Along with Ranbir and Alia, it also prominently features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. Additionally, Shah Rukh Khan made a cameo appearance in the movie.
