Ex-boyfriend of actor Vaishali Takkar is now in judicial custody:Police

The key suspect detained in connection with the suspected suicide of well-known television star Vaishali Takkar was committed to judicial detention by a municipal court in Indore on Friday.
Rahul Navlani, the primary defendant, was placed in judicial custody by the court after the conclusion of his eight-day police detention, according to a prosecution official.

Although the police assert that they have enough evidence to convict Rahul in the case of aiding suicide, they are still working to recover the erased data from his mobile device.

“Based on Vaishali’s suicide note and the comments of her family members, we have adequate proof against Rahul. Soon, we want to present a charge sheet against him in court, “Moti-ur-Rehman, an assistant commissioner of police (ACP), according to PTI.

Rahul reportedly removed data from his mobile phone before his detention on October 19.

The official stated that the police are attempting to obtain the data with the aid of technology specialists and extracting data from various social networking sites to gather further evidence.

He stated that the deceased actor’s family members claimed that Rahul, already married, had been bothering her since he learned of her engagement.

On October 15, Vaishali’s body was discovered at her residence. Vaishali accused Rahul of bugging her in a five-page suicide note discovered by the police at the site.

Disha, the wife of Rahul, is being sought after.

With the television series “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” Vaishali launched her career. She appeared in more than a dozen serials and rose to fame as Sasural Simar Ka.

The actor was a native of the Ujjain district’s Mahidpur town. According to accounts, she had resided in Indore for the last three years.
