Maja Ma is the title of the next movie starring Madhuri Dixit. The Koyla star recently discussed her experiences during the film’s production. Maja Ma is marketed as a “family entertainer, set against the festive setting of a traditional festival and a typical, colorful Indian wedding,” directed by Anand Tiwari and written by Sumit Batheja. Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhowmik, Barkha Singh, Srishti Shrivastava, Rajit Kapur, Sheeba Chaddha, Simone Singh, Malhar Thakar, and Ninad Kamat all appear in the movie, in addition to Madhuri.
Madhuri Dixit stated, “There are so many memories of our enjoyable days working on the film and through all the masti behind the scenes.
On this particular occasion, Gajraj ji’s delivery of the line made it impossible for me to maintain composure. Even though it was a grave situation, Gajraj ji cracked us up with some of his trademark funny quips. It is pretty challenging to maintain your composure when filming with him. I began mentally humming depressing songs out of fear that I might start laughing, which helped me keep my composure and avoid ruining the moment for other people.”
Added she, “We enjoyed dancing, practicing, and playing games with one another during the gaps between pictures. One day, Gajraj Ji, Ritwik, Srishti, and I completed our scenes ahead of schedule.
When I finished my scenes early one day, Gajraj Ji, Ritwik, Srishti, and Barkha were all playing silly charades. I joined them, intending to play a few rounds before leaving for home. But I got distracted and ended up playing many games. My teammates reminded me that it was getting late, but I was having so much fun that I could not stop playing in the middle of a round.”
Srishti Shrivastava described a humorous incident with Madhuri: “We had to fast and elegantly hoist our ghagras and move while filming Boom Padi. I wasn’t lifting anything because of the song’s strong pace and the exhilaration of dancing with Madhuri ma’am.
I wasn’t raising it lightly because of the song’s tremendous pace and the pleasure of dancing with Madhuri ma’am. She then asked, “What are you doing?” as she started laughing and turned to face me, showing me how to hoist a ghagra elegantly. The diva instructing me to boost a ghagra with grace made me laugh, but it was also really dear to me.”
Ritwik Bhowmik further revealed, “Anand sir was constantly extremely inspiring and encouraging. He consistently saw the good in situations. But on this particular day, Barkha and I completed the shot, at which point he remarked, “Haye mere Bache Kitna karaab karte ho tum log.” That day is one I’ll never forget. He was serious and still so funny!”
