By receiving a perfect score of 10 from all five judges, Nikhat won the first round by a score of 5-0. She then defeated her opponent in the second round by a score of 5-0. In the third round, Nikhat dominated so thoroughly that the referee had to call time.

When asked how she would rank her CWG accomplishment, Nikhat responded:To be a world champion is the biggest medal for me. Par sab ki jagah alag hai (every medal has its own significance).
