As India wrapped up yet another antitrust investigation this month, Alphabet Inc.’s Google was fined 936 crores ($113.04 million) and found guilty of abusing its market position to promote its payments app and in-app payment system.
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) penalized it $162 million on Thursday for engaging in anticompetitive behavior concerning Android.
