Therefore, keeping in view this interest, new port connectivity projects will be started on all those islands including Lakshadweep. Also, it has been announced to increase the budget by two percent for the tourism sector.
In this he will emphasize on branding and marketing of India's tourist destinations at the global level. Along with this, it was also stated in the budget that the central government will also give interest free loans to the states for a long period of time for this development.
