Blackpink set to release third mini album in February

The world's biggest girl group, Blackpink, is set to release its third mini album in February after three years. "Jump" single was the recent release as a group after the members focused on solo activities.

YG Entertainment has announced the much-awaited comeback of the world's most beloved girl group BLACKPINK. The third mini album is called "Deadline", which is the same name as their recent world tour. It is set to release on February 27, 2026.

It is no less than a festival for BLINKs, the fans who have been waiting to hear the girls as a group. Born Pink was the last album released in 2022, after which all the members, Lisa, Rose, Jennie and Jisoo focused on their solo careers.

After almost 3.5 years, the girls are back. The announcement led to hashtags #BLACKPINKDeadline and #BLACKPINKComeback trending on X and Instagram.

The details of the album, such as songs, songwriters and music videos, are still unknown, and the company has kept it as a surprise for the fans. The album will feature their recent song "Jump" which was released in July 2025.

BLACKPINK songs are known for trending on music charts for months and receiving awards on music shows. It is indeed a phase of competition as 2026 will officially be the year of iconic comebacks as groups like BTS, EXO and BIGBANG will release music after long hiatuses.
