“Not all cultures are equal”, says Indian-American influencer Priya Patel, receives online backlash

Indian-American influencer Priya Patel, a firm MAGA supporter, posted a video on X, in which she said immigration can cause societal collapse in the United States and Eastern cultures are backwards. 

“People from third-world countries, outbreeding us in our own country” 

• Priya Patel, an Indian-American influencer and hardcore MAGA supporter, said cultures from eastern countries should not be allowed to enter the United States because they embrace Slavery, underage marriage and polygamy. She expressed her thoughts in detail, which drew sharp criticism from the netizens, even from Americans.

• “Not all cultures are equal, there I said it, guess what? All people are created equal under the eyes of god, and the law, but not all cultures are equal. This is a simple fact, and I don’t understand why it is a cardinal sin, according to some of the left and some of the right, to say this out loud. It is a fact. You still have cultures that embrace things like Slavery, underage marriage, polygamy, human sacrifice, and you are telling me that all cultures are equal and we need to allow them to come to the United States, and we just need to embrace them?”.
• She continued to say “No, Just No, and not all immigration is good, even legal immigration can be bad, and I get the toxic empathy here in the United States, where we need to think we should allow the entire world to flood our borders and invade our country. This is how you cause societal collapse: Assimilation to our culture should be the bare minimum requirement of anybody that is allowed to come to our country, “BARE MINIMUM”.
• Patel also said immigrants from different cultures, “especially from third-world countries,” enter into the US and form their own groups, increasing the population. She calls it “Civilizational suicide” Americans are allowing their cultures and norms to be eroded. “These people are not assimilating with us; they are outbreeding us”. 
• Netizens called out Priya Patel, who seems to have Indian ancestry. One user wrote, “ Your children will refer to your native land as 3rd world. And rant to never allow more immigrants from there.” Another user wrote, “That’s nice, Priya, but you will get deported back to India nevertheless. Holidays are over.”
