"Want more BTS concert tickets" Says Mexican President for the upcoming BTS world tour "Arirang"

BTS is back, and fans are excited to see their idols perform. After the release of their comeback album, BTS will conduct their world tour in April, and the demand for the ticket are soaring, but the number of available tickets to fulfil the demands are too little.

The President of Mexico writes to the South Korean President for more tickets

K-Pop legends and Idol of Idols, BTS, the Korean Boy band, is back after each of its members enlisted for their mandatory military service since 2022. The group did not put out any album or song together, but briefly focused on their solo activities as artists, further strengthening their individual footing in the industry.

As the boy band prepares for their world tour "Arirang", the sales for the tickets are soaring, and the demands are not being met due to the number of fans. Due to the rising demand, certain malicious practices have been noticed. On Ticketmaster, which is the official sales channel, tickets that sell between 1,800 pesos and 17,800 pesos, the resale platforms like StubHub and Viagogo sell them between 11,300 to 92,100 pesos.

These platforms are monitored closely, and rightful steps are being taken by the government. Surprisingly, the President of Mexico wrote to the President of South Korea, asking for more tickets for Mexican youngsters and fans who had been waiting to attend BTS's concert since 2022.

Claudia Sheinbaum said, “I wrote a letter to the Prime Minister of Korea asking that BTS come more times. I have not yet received a response, but we hope it will be positive or that they allow screens, in short, that we find a way for young people to have more access to this group that is so popular around the world and particularly in Mexico.”

South Korea has confirmed receipt of her letter, and they are reviewing the request made by the Mexican President, but no official statement has been released. BTS announced three Mexico City shows for their world tour, and Mexico is a key market in the Latin America for BTS.
