The Commerce secretary of the united states has said india will say sorry and resume trade with US like canada which made a shift in the foregin policy and warned india of severe consequences if not obeyed the US. He also criticised india's participation in the BRICS and asked to pause all the russian oil pruchasing.

- Closest aid to President Donald trump and United states's commerce secretary howard lutnick, has targeted india, after the continuous criticism by trump's ministers like peter navarro. In a interview with bloomberg, he said India is going to be sorry for what they are doing and try to make a deal with donald trump. He threathened that if india doesn't bows down and agree to what united states dictates, they have to face serious repercussions.
