Kabaddi player Gurvinder Singh shot dead by Bishnoi Gang in Ludhiana

Bishnoi Gang has taken the responsibility for the murder of kabaddi player Gurvinder Singh in Ludhiana, Punjab. Recently, the gang shot another Kabaddi player, Tejpal Singh, in Jagraon. 

Kabaddi Player Gurvinder Singh killed 

  • Another killing by the Bishnoi Gang has shaken Punjab, just four days after the murder of Kabaddi player Tejpal Singh. 22-year-old Kabbadi player Gurvinder Singh was shot dead on 4th November 2025. As per reports, He and his friends, Dharamveer and Lovepreet Singh, were sitting on a culvert around 9 pm, when two men on two motorcycles came and fired at them. 
  • Police said four men committed the crime. Gurvinder Singh was declared dead, while one of his friends, Dharamveer, was fatally injured as he was shot in the abdomen and was treated at the nearest hospital. Later, he was referred to Chandigarh. Lovepreet did not suffer any gunshot wounds. The incident took place in Manki Village in Samrala, Superintendent of police Pawanjeet Choudhary said. 
  • The survivor, Dharamveer, identified the four men as Simmi Balian, Teji Chak Sarai, Sandeep Singh, and Karan Singh. They are currently not to be found, and the Punjab Police is conducting further investigation. “Several police teams, including technical units, have been pressed into service to trace and arrest the suspects. Raids are underway, and the police have zeroed in on several associates of the accused who are under surveillance.”
  • Lovepreet and one of the accused have criminal cases against them, with serious cases of drug peddling and thievery. The police have identified the main reason for the attack as a rift between them, which led to the murder of Kabaddi player Gurvinder Singh, who was just 22 years old. This incident occurred just four days after the killing of Tejpal Singh, who was a kabaddi player too, and the Bishnoi gang took full responsibility for the act. 
  • Lawrence Bishnoi, the head of the Bishnoi gang, is in Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad and has been imprisoned since 2015 for numerous drug peddling cases and murder cases, which include the assassination of Punjabi singer Siddhu Moosewala and NCP leader Baba Siddique. The Canadian government has accused Bishnoi and his gang of the killings of Canadian Sikhs.
