Mira Murati Rejects $1 Billion offer by Mark Zuckerberg, What followed Raises concern among AI startups

Here’s Mark Zuckerberg and His never ending saga of luring AI startups and Researchers to Join his newly launched Superintelligence Lab, Established to Transform the World of AI. 
He made an offer of Whooping $1 Billion to AI Startup Thinking Machines Led by Mira Maruti, which was rejected by her team. 

Superintelligence Lab and Its vision to Recruit the Industry experts. 

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, launched Superintelligence Lab dedicated to AI which will change the way we look at Artificial intelligence and aim at inventing AI driven products. To create a strong team of Experts and Researchers. Therefore, He is on a lookout to recruit the Best minds in the Industry.  He has made offers backed with Staggering amounts to many Top AI researchers. Recently, He offered the Thinking Machines Lab led by CTO of OpenAI and CEO Mira Murati $1 Billion to join his Team.

“Not a single person has accepted his offer” 

According to Wired, Mira Murati revealed that none of her team members accepted his offer to join his company. “So far not a single person has accepted his offer” she said. 
The packages were ranging from $200 to $1 billion over multiple years. The compensation offered is too captivating that shows the desperation of Mark Zuckerberg. 

The employees have put forth the Vision and Resilience rather than Instant monetary gains.
Independence and confidence in one’s goal is being showcased through the rejection of an Offer made by an already thriving Tech giant. This incident also speaks volumes about the leadership of Mira maruti in which her team confides in. They believe in her vision and have been united in the face of baits. 

Even though Mira murati has made claims, Meta Communications Director Andy stone said 
“We made offers only to a handful of people at TML and while there was one sizable offer, the details are off. At the end of the day, this all begs the question who is spinning this narrative and why” 

Mira Murati is a well known name in the field of AI. One of the pioneers in the creation of ChatGPT. She is Albanian American and is a former CTO of OpenAI.
