Trump’s trade Advisor Peter Navarro made a bizarre comment about India, he said Brahmins are getting profits at the expense of Indian people. He Previously Referred India as the Laundromat for krelim. He is also the mastermind behind the imposition of 50% Tariff on India.

Peter Navarro, the trade advisor of US President Donald Trump has come up with a new justification over the imposition of a 50% tariff on India, which is one of the highest tariffs by the US. In an Interview with Fox News, He Criticised India’s Neutral Policy, India's Tariff over US and Its Relation with Russia and China.
Peter Navarro’s Comment came after the India-China Bilateral meeting at the SCO Summit that resulted in Successfully Reestablishing the relation between both the nations and referring to each other as ”Partners not rivals”. Donald Trump had earlier threatened China with a 200% tariff if they don’t sell US, Chinese magnets.
Peter Navarro on Monday (Sep 1) in an interview accused India of creating a trade deficit and forming Geopolitical alliances that are against the interests of the United States. He even made a bizarre and unexpected comment blaming brahmins for playing with the lives of Indian People and Making Profits. He said India purchases Russian Oil at low Prices, Refines it and sells it to Africa, Asia and Europe.
He accused India of perpetrating the Russia-Ukraine war and financing it as India is one of the top trading partners of Russia and imports a great deal when it comes to defence equipment and oil. As a result, according to him the elite class of India brahmins are profiteering.
He Said "And on top of that, by the way, 25% or 50% is because India is the Maharaja of tariffs. They have the highest tariffs in the world. They won't let us sell to them, so who gets hurt, workers in America, taxpayers in America... Ukrainians in cities are getting killed by Russian drones,"
"So, you know, look, Modi's a great leader... But I don't understand why he's getting into bed with Putin and Xi Jinping...when he's the leader of the biggest democracy in the world. I would just simply say to the Indian people. Please, understand what's going on here. You've got Brahmins profiteering at the expense of the Indian people. We need that to stop," Navarro Claimed.

Peter Navarro’s Previous comments on India

Navarro had earlier used Derogatory Remarks for India. He referred India as the Laundromat For Kremlin and criticised Its Oil Purchases from India.
He wrote on X "India now exports over 1 million barrels a day in refined petroleum — more than half the volume of Russian crude it imports. The proceeds flow to India's politically connected energy titans — and directly into Putin's war chest,"
On the day of the Imposition of Tariff he posted “This isn’t just about India’s unfair trade—it’s about cutting off the financial lifeline India has extended to Putin’s war machine”
Navarro even called the Ukraine war as the Modi's war and wrote ”A 50% tariff—25% for unfair trade and 25% for national security—is a direct response. If India, the world's largest democracy, wants to be treated like a strategic partner of the U.S., it needs to act like one. The road to peace in Ukraine runs through New Delhi.”

US federal court has ruled out the high tariffs imposed by Donald trump as illegal and the power is only used in the times of National Emergency and applies in reponse to the Reciprocal Tariffs. Therefore, They are unlawful and May get removed if it survives supreme court challenge.
