PM Modi applauds Rajnath Singh and S Jaishankar on Op. Sindoor Speeches

“Op. Sindoor has only paused” says Rajnath Singh 

• In the parliament session on Monday, the discussion was entirely based on the response made to the horrific pahalgam attack by the Pakistani terrorists. 
• Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that Pakistani infrastructure was smashed down within twenty two minutes of the Operation carried out by the Indian Armed Forces. 
• The Indian Air Force was able to hit the terrorist bases stationed at various parts of Pakistan with accuracy. Following the Operation, Pakistan urged for immediate ceasefire and accepted defeat on May 10. 
• “India paused its action- Operation sindoor against terror infrastructure in Pakistan because the political and military objectives were achieved” 
• “If any misadventure occurs from Pakistan’s side in the future, this Operation will be resumed” Defence minister added. 

“There was no call between PM Modi and Trump” Reveals S. Jaishankar 

• External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar has dismantled the speculations of any mediation offered by the US President Donald Trump on putting a ceasefire between the India-Pak Conflict. 
• “There was no call between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Trump between April 22 (the Pahalgam attack) and June 17 (the ceasefire)” and at no stage was there any link between trade and what was going on” He said. 
• The meeting of 23rd April decided that the Indus water treaty of 1960 will be held in abeyance with immediate effect until Pakistan credibly and irrevocably abjures its support for cross border terrorism. 
• “It was Important to send a clear , strong and resolute message after the Pahalgam Attack our red lines had been crossed and we had to make it very apparent that there would be serious consequences”. 

PM Modi praised both the minister’s speeches. He also shared Jaishankar’s speech on X 

“He highlighted how the world has clearly heard India’s perspective on Fighting the menace of terrorism through operation sindoor”.
