Sushila Kharki to assume the post of Prime minister of Nepal amidst arson and political instability in the nation. Social Media band have been removed and the new government to reinstall peace in the nation.
Sushila Kharki is the former chief justice of Nepal and studied from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). She is the only woman in Nepal to serve as the chief justice of the Supreme court of Nepal. After the resignation of K.P Sharma Oli, people have expressed their inclination towards Kharki to become the PM of the country until law and order is restored and fresh elections are held.
GenZ protests took a violent turn when the military openly fired on the protestors leading to arson and toppling of the existing government. These events have been observed as the Nepalese revolution, after dismantling the supreme court, parliament, breaking into the houses of ministers, killing innocent family members of some of the ministers and alleged torture of for some of the communities living in the nation, this protest doesn’t seem like it was intended towards restoring political order from the corrupt ministers.

After GenZ led the Nepo kid movement on social media which led to the ban on the major social media including instagram, youtube and linkedin by the Nepalese Government. The Nepo kid movement primarily exposed the lavish lives of the children of people who held important posts in the country.
They compiled the images of them and shared them on various social media platforms.These people were seen vacationing in Europe, wearing luxury brands and enjoying their lives while the tax payers of the country suffered in great discomfort, unemployment and poor health care.
She said “Our immediate focus will be something for the young people who died during the protest”. She has wholeheartedly welcomed the decision of the country.” I have accepted their request to lead the interim government.”
Along with Sushila Kharki, Mayor of Kathmandu Balendra Shah and Sudan Gurung were also top picks for the post.
