Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have bought a land in Alibaug for ₹37.86 crore. It was registered on 13 January 2026. Alibaug is a key spot for celebrities to make investments due to its location. They already have a property in Alibaug which they bought in 2022.

The "IT couple of India", Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, have made headlines by purchasing a land in Alibaug, Maharashtra, for ₹37.86 crore.

The land is in Zirad Village, near Awas Beach in Alibaug's Raigad district, a coastal and tourist destination. The total land size is about 21,010 sq metres (over 5.19 acres). 

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have jointly acquired a large land parcel in Alibaug for ₹37.86 crore, according to property documents registered on January 13, 2026.

They paid about ₹2.27 crore in stamp duty and registration fee of ₹30,000. They already have an 8-acre plot in Alibaug, bought around 2022, which was converted into a luxury villa with advanced features.

The couple has made a continued investment in the Alibaug property market. There have been huge investments in the Alibaug property market. Alibaug is popular for its proximity to Mumbai, Scenic Coastal Location and Luxury Real Estate Projects. Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon and more.

Alibaug has witnessed a surge in luxury property and plotted development in recent years, as branded residences and high-end hotels increasingly target buyers beyond celebrities and business tycoons.
