The Film has crossed the 90 crore mark and emerged as one of the best Animated movies. ISKCON books cinema halls for screening, Tough competition to Saiyaara and Dhadak 2. 

Ashwin Kumar’s Mahavtar Narsimha Garners Praise

Ashwin Kumar’s Mahavtaar Narsimha has broken records and become the highest-grossing Indian animated movie of all time. Written and directed by Ashwin Kumar himself, it has made it possible for the younger generation to connect with spirituality and India’s culture. Released on 25th July 2025, it has garnered praise from the audience for the storyline and VFX. Viewers commented that after a long time, a movie has been released that can be watched with the entire family.

 As per various sources, the movie has crossed the 90 crore mark, and 10 more isn’t hard to achieve due to the constant appreciation and popularity among the audience. It also earned 1206% more than any animated movie of Bollywood. This movie was the outcome of Kleem Production and Hombale Films’ creative efforts. 

Iskcon has significantly praised the movie and its storytelling, even making efforts to popularize and send the message of the movie to people of all ages. They booked a cinema hall for the screening of the movie. 

"We have booked the whole movie theater here for the devotees. Tomorrow as well, our devotees will come to watch this movie. A lot of devotees have come here to attend the screening. It will send a great message to the people... This movie promotes Indian culture and helps people to understand our philosophy easily," ISKCON Silliguri spokesperson Nam Krishna Das told ANI.

  • The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has done pivotal work in connecting the masses to spirituality globally. 
  • The director, Ashwin Kumar, took to social media and shared the success of the film. In just 3 days, the film was able to collect 3 days. 
  • The movie is in the race with Saiyaara and Dhadak 2, two of the most well-performing Movies at this point. Nevertheless, Mahavatar Narsimha has held its ground. 
  • The animated movie tells the story of one of Lord Vishnu’s avatars, Lord Narsimha, who slays a demon, Hiranyakashyap, and protects Prahlad, Vishnu’s Devotee. 
  • The production house has also taken it under its mission to release movies of Lord Vishnu’s two or more avatars.
