Navratri is a celebration of shakti, femininity and justice. Each day holds a significance that can be utilized to bring yourself closer to religion and goodness. Each day is represented by colours such as pink, purple, red, white, blue etc. These colours represent the very essence of the festival and offer a fun twist to enjoy. You can wear clothes or start using materials of these colours to bring a burst of colours in your life not just for the festivities but also in general. Fasting on certain days helps regain your momentum and switching to cruelty-free diets gives you peace of mind. Make sure to visit a pandal and offer your prayers to the goddess, seek blessings and enjoy delicious bhog or prasad.
